Trip.
When spring-timo comes, after tho dull,
heavy winter weather, wo all feci tho need
of something to tone up tho system. For
merly this was douo by tho uso of hitter de
coctions, but nnw-a-days the knowing ones
have found that the host tonic is a trip to the
ocean beach, and the practice of spending a
fow days on tho Shore is finding more and
more devotees every year, so much so that
the Seaside Hotels make extra arrangements
toaccommudato tho early Spring visitors.
Atlantic City, with its numerous open-all
tho-year hotels, suu parlors and magnificent
boardwalk with a southern exposure, giving
promenaders a splendid view of tho ocean
while inhaling the warm invigorating salt
air wafted up from the gulf stream, is es
pecially suited for the purpose, aud through
the good train service of tho Philadelphia &
Reading route (Atlantic City R. K.) has
quick railroad connection with all points.
Fast trains leave Chestnut St. and South St.
Ferries at convenient hours and through
tickets aro sold and baggage checked through
from or to all points on the Philadelphia &
Reading Railway and its connections.
We would also call the attention of the
traveling public to the fact that Philadelphia
& Reading engines burn hard coal, thus
avoiding sraoko. Tho Atlantic City Railroad
is double truck all the way, aud is ballasted
with anthracite cinders, thus eliminating the
very disagreeable feature of dust, and that
this route has the record of inaugurating the
00 minute train service between Philadelphia
and Atlantic City, running and maintaining
fur 60 days without a break the fastest train
in the world. A book has been compiled by
the Company, giving interesting statistics re.
garding these tacts. It will be sent by mail

Dear Sir :
We herewith take the liberty of extending you a cordial
invitation to call and examine our new Spring and Summer Stock
of Men's, Boys', and Children's Clothing, aud in so doing we can,
without exaggeration, safely assert that our stock was nev r more
complete.
Our store, which is the largest in the county, is filled with
all the Latest and Most Fashionable Styles, and when you come to
buy of us, you have an Immense Stock to select from. Besides,
through our buying in large quantities, we are enabled to buy goods
at considerably less in price than if we only bouglt a few.
This explains our success. We buy nothing but the Lat
est and Best in the market and our prices are from $1.50 to 3 .00
cheaper on a suit than elsewhere.
We would endeavor to describe some of the many styles
and patterns we have in stock, but we trust you will accept this in
vitation to call and examine them and satisfy yourself.
Remember you are always welcome whether you buy or not.
We are always glad to see you, and in closing will thank you for
past favors and trusting for a continuance of the same,
We Remain Respectfully Yours,
