The tragedy oc curred Immediately after the congre gation had been dismissed, as the wor shipers were leaving the church. Young Allen and Miss Clevenger were walking out togetl- r, when Ernest slipped up behind them and fired the fatal shots. Allen was killed Instantly and Miss Clevenger may die. The mur derer escaped.
