placo last evening, from typhoid pneumonia.
He was ill about two weeks. The deceased
was 50 years old and leaves three children:

of Philadelphia, and Mabel, at homo. His
wife died about five years ago. Mr. I.awanls

from the c licet of burns. A day or two ago
ho was helping a irieud to clean up his place,

splashed all over him, scalding him in
frightful manner. Tho deceased was 30
years old, uuuurried and residtd with his
widowed mother. He was a member of the
