Every one knows
the biblical story
of the passover.
The angel of death
turned aside only
1 at the doors of the
1 chosen people.
'The first-born of
all others were
' slain. There is a
chosen people to.
-day, at whose
dnnra the nnirel nf
death turns aside and whose first-born es
cape unscathed while the children of othen
perish. The chosen people are the healthy
people. Nine-tenths of the deaths among
children are due to the ill-health of the
mothers during the period preceding; moth,
-trhood. Every woman owes it to herself, her
husband and her children to keep herself
healthy In a womanly way. She should
thoroughly understand her own physical
make-up. She should realize the import'
tancc of keeping the organs of womanhood
healthy and vigorous. She can only do this
by taking proper care of herself and using
the proper remedy for weakness or disease
of those organs.
The best remedy forweakness or disease of
the organs p. culiar to women is Dr. Pierce's
Favorite Prescription. It is truly wonderful
In its effects on the female organism. It
allays inflammation, soothes pain and re
stores health and vigor. Get it at the drug
gist's and take no substitute. Your health
and your children's health depend upon it.
Since I wrote you we have had a baby girl born
to us," write. W.K. Malcolm, of Knobel.ClayCo.,
Ark. " My wife took your ' Golden Medical Ills,
covery ' and also your ' Favorite rrescrlptlou ' all
durin? the exuectant period and until confine
ment, and she had no trouble to mention. A
itouter, healthier child was never born. Our
child will be oneyearof ge the 6th Inst and she
nas not been ptcic a
l day. Has not had so much
is the colic.'
Every woman In America should own a
copy of Dr. Pierce's Common Sense Medical
Adviser. In its I ,oo3 pages she will find plain
talks about all sorts of ailments. These talks
are made plainer by copious illustrations.
About oo pages arc devoted to woman's dis
eases and weaknesses. There are sugges
tions for home-treatment. This book has
llready gone into more than a million
homes. The original price was $1.50. Now

"Tho situation of tho river at Enu Claire

more of this water will flow away under

but not so hard as ordinary lco. Under

Colonol Jonos will visit Enu Claire and

Wo sny the old wny, but lenlly it in a very
common one at present time and many dys
peptics and physicians as well consider tho
first step to tako In ntteinrthiB to euro Indi
gestion Is to diet, cither by selecting certain
foods and rejecting others or to greatly dlmlii
ih the quantity Usually taken, In other
words the starvation plan Is by many sup
posed to bo tho first essential.
The almost certain fulluto of tho starva
tion cure for dyspepsia has been proven time
and again, but still tho moment Dyspepsia,
makes its appearance a courso of dieting is at
onco advised.
All this Is radically wrong. It is loollsh
nnd unscientific to recommend dieting or
starvation to a man suffering from Dyspep
sia, because Indigestion Itself starves ovcry
organ and ovory norvo and evory fibre in tho
body.
What tho Dyspeptic wants Is abundant
nutrition, which means plenty of good
wholesomo, well-cooked food and soinothlng
to assist tho weak stomach to digest It. This
is exactly tho purposo for which Stuart's
Dyspepsia Tablets are adapted nnd this Is tho
method by which they cure tho worst cases
of Dyspepsia, in other words tho patient eats
plenty of wholesomo food and Stuart's Dys-
popsia Tablets digest it forhitn. In this way
tho system is nourished and tho overworked
stomach rested, bocamo tlio tablets will di
gest tho food whether the stomach works or
not. Ono of these tablets will digest 3,000
grains of meat or eggs.
Your druggist will tell you that Stuart's
Dyspepsia Tablets is the purest and safest
remedy sold for stomach troubles and every

preparation. Sold at 50 cts. for full sized
