Somo time ago tho Lehigh Valley Kailroad
Company was notified by tho Postmaster
General that tho baggage-masters and other
train hands would not bo permitted to carry
mail for tho Lehigh Valley Coal Company or

order was interpreted to mean all news
letters, that were formerly carried from cor
respondents in 0110 town to newspapers pub
lished iu anothor. Fiom iuquiry it has been
learned that news letters will bo carried as
heretofore provided they nro enclosed in
stamped envelopes. Any envelope witii a
stamp stuck on it will not do. It must bo nn
envelopo with tlie stamp printed on it so that
when tlie letter is opened tho stamp is de
