It has not yot boen decided how many
bishops will be choson, but tlio plan re
cently proposed by Bishop Wnldon is
mooting with favor. At present tlioro aro
slxtoon bishops. Twelve aro located in
this country, two aro missionary bishops
in Africa and India, and two nro occupied
in missionary work in various countries.
Bishop Wnldon suggested that tho two
missionary bishops bo made full fledged
bishops and given episcopal residences in
Africa and India, and that five additional
bishops bo created with oplscopal resi
dences, one to bo assigned to India,. an
other to China, a third to Japan, a fourth
to Kuropo and n fifth to South America.
Ho thought twolvo bishops would thon bo

was found warped to a dock. Her cargo
had been removed.
The tug then proceeded over to where
tho Laurada lay, ami dropped anchor to
tlio south of Bodloo's Island. Smoke was
pouring from tlio funnels of the steam
ship, and thcro was much bustle and ac

Hollef and Greon Point in tow, and about
a hundred Cubans, togother with sovornl
