firm of W. G. Cownn & Sons, who left
Pittsburg last Saturday morning and
whose whereabouts aro unknown. Tho

aggregate between $100,000 and $160,000,
tho most of which ho Is supposed to have
carried away with him,
Tho victims Cowan has loft behind him

his fnthor, whom ho has left financially
ruined, her llttlo fortuno of nbout $15,000
nnd property valued at $20,000 being en
tirely swept away. Tho largest creditors

of Coroy, who places his loss ot almost
$80,000, and William Aplors, of tho Aplers
Lumber company, of Allegheny, whoso

Stanley Sims, of tho Now Jcrsoy court of
orrors, died hero yesterday of paralysis.
