jeet of inuuh dlsoussiou in Little Hook to
day. ' It has all along been well known
that Hot Springs was anxious to secure
the big event, nnd the press of that citv
has boen outipoken in favor of it. Just
what step-i have boon taken by Inter
ested partkii to brln;? tlio contest to Hot
Springs is not known, but it is assorted
horn by p "unln who profess to know what
they aro talking about that tho content
will probably take place at the Arkansas
resort.
Should tho governor not interfere then
Is no doubt about tlio Hut Springs people
being able to bring tho contest off success
fully, as th.-re Is no city ordinance against
boxing, and tho local authorities are favor
able to the project, Mayor Waters being
ono of tho committee now in Dallas. Mr.
Martin, tho other coinmittooniuu, is a well
known louder and ox-proseoutlng attorney
of Garland couuty.
Should the committeo bo successful in
bringing tho match to Hot Springs it is
believed that thero will bo no interference
durlug tho progress of tho contost, but
that when It is concluded tho principals
will bo arrested and fined, according to
law.
