This -wns tho schedule as given by tho

The situation Whs Intensified by tho re

councils had 5,009 armed men ready to
send to Omuha to maintain tho A. P. A.
commission. At tho sumo time tho old
commission wns In tho mayor's office,
ready to lssuo ordors to repol any forco

After n brlof conforenco tho A. P. A.
committee concluded to confor with tho

Mayor Bemis sent to the A. P. A. board
Thursday night, asking tho members to

The members of tho now board replied
that thoy had doclded to meet Mayor
Bomls and his colleagues, and tho mayor
replied that thoy were roady. The two
boards remained closotcd for nn hour or
more. Whon tho door was opened It was
announced that an agreement had bcon

tho old board, and by V. J. Droatch as
chairman of tho now board, to Governor
Holcomb and A. S. Churchill, attorney
general:
"If tho supremo court will moot nt an

This telegram was -sent to each of tho
justlcos of tho supremo court:
"All parties agree to submit tho pollco

This was also signed by tho chairman
of each board. Thoy wanted it understood
that neither board had mado any conces

and In that respect thoro wns no change
In tho situation. They had simply agreed

with as much safety as cornmeal, which
it much resembles In appearance, but its
