Tho first victim to succumb to his Inju
ries was Frederick Claproth, of No. 810
Klmbor street, Camden. Ho died shortly
after midnight nt a neighboring hotel to
which ho had been convoyed. Claproth
had boon in tho crowd on thn lower lloor
of the buildin'sr when tlio crash enme. He
was caught and pinioned down under a
mass of timbers and when, after great
dllllculty, the police succeeded In extricat
ing his body, It was found that both liU
legs and arms had been broken. He never
rogaiucd consciousness.
It is now feared that many more deaths
will result, and it Is a matter of wonder
ment that out of tho 20) or more persons
who wero on the lower lloor none wero
killed outright.

A Hoy Commits Suicide.
GAHLISLE, Pn., July 11. Albert Buoher,
pged 10 years, a promising colored lad,
who bad been omployed for two yoars In
tho office of George M. Pullman, at Chi
cago, came homo from that olty on Mon
day, and last night committed suicide by
putting a bullet Into his head. Letters
left by Bucher showod that he had planned
the suicide In Chicago nnd enmo to his
homo to execute his purpose. He had on
sevoral occasions oxprossedtho foar that he
was losing his mind.

Detroit, July II. Elghteon-year-old
Goorgo Choesoboro has confessod that he

tho 13 year-old daughter, confessed that
tho killing was justifiable). Mary and her
