The Lebigh Valley Railroad Company bas posted notices to the effect that in the future all mileage books will be good only for one year, and not nutll used, as heretofore. Notwithstanding they nre elected for a term of three years the Receivers of Taxes are obliged to renew their bonds annually. Many of the collectors in Luzerne county overlooked this requirement and three- fifths have defaulted in filing the bonds. There is danger of the court declaring their offices vacant.
