Indianapolis, Jan. 29. A most tcrrlblo
wreck, causing loss of llfo nud maimed
limbs, occurred at Coatesvillo yosterday
afternoon. Vnndalla train No. 3, duo In
this city nt 2:35, was wrecked by tho
spreading of tho rails. Two persons woro
killed almost Instantly and thirty or forty
Injured, four or five seriously.
Tho train was running nt full speed. It
had just passed the town of Coatesvillo,
twenty-eight miles from horo, and was
rounding a curvo whon tho tracks spread.
Tho private car of President R. W. Mc
Keen, which was attached to tho train,
jumped the tracks. This was followed by
tho parlor car and then tho ladies' car,
tho two reivf cars going down tho ombank-
mout ten feet before the train could bo
stopped. Tho smoker left tho tracks, but
