Brewer, who shot her former lover, G. W.
Latimer, on Thursday, was taken into the
presence of her dying victim nt tho Lynn

dormitory her feelings overcame her, and
sho minted. Upon regaining conscious
ness sho expressed sorrow for her act, and
asked forgiveness, which Latimer readily

Mr. Thomas M. Jackson, residing near
Uayvlow, Cecil county, shot and killed an
unknown negro prowler early in tho morn
ing. Mrs. Jackson and her daughter wero
