The exhibits number between 2,1500 and 3,000 and have been completed at tho patient expense of much time and labor on tho part of teachers and pupils. Supesintendont Freeman has also expended much care and time in properly classifying aud packing them, so that tlie Commissioners will have little trouble to make a proper display. They iuclude map drawing from the Third and Fuurth grade primary and First aud Second grade grammar schools; arithmetic from all grades except the High School; language from all the primary schools except the First grade; and all tho other schools have two subjects each, language and arithmetic. The papers of the High School cover natural philosophy, which embraces many excellent pen and ink drawings suitable to tho subject; latin, trigonometry, algebra, mental philoso phy and chemistry.
