THEATRICAL NOTES.
Reference to Ferguson Theatre Coming
Attractions.
JAMe Goldle, in "The Ilocky Mountain
Tatf," attracted two large audiences to
Harris's theatre yesterday afternoon and last
evening. The play deals liberally with
Western scenes and incidents, hut it is none
the less interesting and entertaining, tho
scenery was much hettcr than the usual cheap
stuff seen with productions of this character.
Pittsburg Leader. "The Rocky Mountain
Waif" will bo produced at Ferguson's theatre
this evening.
DRUMMER DOT.
Again tho great war drama, "The Drummer
Hoy," has been presented by this Post to
overflowing houses during sir nights and two
jnatinccs, the receipts exceeding all records of
last years. Therefore tho eommitteo desires
to express to you, A. F. Null, their hearty
appreciation as a manager and an actor. Tho
enthusiasm with which tho play was received
convinces us that it is a hotter card each time
it is produced, and we heartily rocoinmend
it as a standard war play. IF. 1C. Bcotl,
Mays rott, Q. A. 11, Pittsburg. "The
Drummer Boy," which will ho presented in
Ferguson's theatre on the 16th and 17th, is H
miniature of tfio Great Kehellion. It stirs
the blood, arouses again tho terrible memories,
and in it tho old soldior fights his battles
over again. Every ono will ho better and
happier in having felt tho awakening inspira
tion of tho thrilling scenes in "Tho Drummer
Boy." "
