Tho reporter shawed Mr. Wrightlngton tho despatch from Now York, 'alleging that that city was getting more than her sharo of the pauper population of the Old Bay State, ..id also alleging that tho officials of this State were aiding and abetting these paupers to take up their residence in New YorH. 'I do not caro to talk to any extent," said Mr. Wrightlngton, "unless thcro havo been special charge3 made, but I never knew of any paupers being sent to New York or anywhere else from this State that did not belong whero they were sent.
