and on, but has just loft it for good, lie
has sent for an artificial hand to Now York
and will possibly be ablo to follow his trade.
The dread diphtheria is creating sad
havoc among the children at the little
mining villago of Locust Summit, a mile
or two from Locust Gap, and tho physicians
aro at a loss to And a remedy that will
check tho ravages of this awful disease
that is bringing sorrow and sadness to tho
homes of tho people there. There are said
toboabjul fifteen cases there at present,
and thoy are of a most malignant type.
