When tho musical festival at Lakeside was arranged for August 15, last, tbo com mittee at first hesitated about putting the affair on a grand scale, fearing that the public might not appreciate their efforts and a financial loss might result. But as tho datu drow near thoy put additior a! money into tho venture on tho Btrongih of interest manifested by the people in this and adjoining counties as Boon as itwa properly advertised and tbo result was that those who attended tho festival had ono of tbo greatest musical treats ever offered in this county.
