The production of Shakftpare's maslor-
pieco"Hamlot,"at Ferxuson's thentro, drew
a largo and appreciative audience, Mr.
Claronco Bennett impersonated Hamlet in
a vory oflbetivo manner. His concoption
of thn character embraces nil the charac
teristics of a clean-cut and impressive
representations, and at all times ho retained
perfect control cf the part. His ontiro
company showed closo and cartful slugo
managoraont and did clever coneciencicua
work. Tho costumes woro elegent and
correct, tho special scenery fine and tho
little dotails carefully nttondod to. Tho
audience tostiflod their appreciation by
repeated curtain calls to which Mr. Bennett
responded. Tu-nlgbt tho company present
a very bright comedy entitled "Daisy,"
with olegant special scenery. To-night's
play closes the seoton nt tho theatre untill
next September, Evoryono should embrace
this occasion to sea tho last and brightest
play of this excellent company, especially
as it is their last chance to see any theatrical
performance hero again this season.
