was excited and as ho stood in front of

lieve that tho gypsy was ono of a sang of
men appointed to put the recent Polish and
Lithuanian threats into operation. Refo
wich called upon the police to arrest Guy
for disorderly conduct and tho man was
taken to the Council chamber. Thoro the

In the front room of the poorly furnished

In a rear room sat the wooplng mother
nursing a dying child six weoks old.
Tho son whoso remains rested in the ice
box died at 4 o'clock this morning. After
watching tho circus parade on Monday he
was taken ill and Dr. Sloin pronounced it a
case similar to sun stroke.
Tho family has been extremely unfor
tunato within tho past seven years. During
that period seven of its mombors have
beon carried off by death. One son was
killed on tho Lehigh Yalley railroad about
six years and a half ago, and another son

carried off by disease, and the seventh lies
in tho ico box. The infant in tho mother's

Chiet Burgess Smith urges all who can
afford to do so, to contribute .something to
tho aid of tho family. He will receive all
contributions and see that they are properly
applied.
Tho case is certainly a distressing ono.
