vania Telephone Company the right to oc
cupy tho streets and highways of tho Hdrough of
Shenandoah with poles and wires as may bo
necessary for conducting ItH business.
Section 1. Ho it ordained by tho Town Coun
cil of tho llorough of Shenandoah, nnd it Is here
by ordained by tho authority of tho same, that
permission no ana is nereuy grameu 10 me
Pennsylvania Telephone Company, under such
conditions and regulations as hereinafter set
forth, to occupy the streets and highwaysof the
llorough of Shenandoah aforesaid, v, ith poles,
neatly trimmed and painted, and wire as may
be necessary for conducting its business and to
maintain the poles and wire in good, safo and
serviceable condition.
Sec. 2. That nil poles shall bo located on tho
curb line of properties at a place to be designat
ed by and be erected under tho supervision of
the Committee on Highways, of said borough
Sec. 3. That no poles sliall be erected under
such permission without the consent of the own
ers of properties abutting the location of said
noles.
-kc. 4. That Mild Telephone Company shall
permit tho lire alarm ami polico patrol wires
and boxes of said borough to bo run upon all the
polos of bald company within the borough lim
its. Sec. 5. That said Telephone Company shall
pay tho expense of printing and publishing this
ordinance.
