Berger upbraided his wife for what ho termed her extrava gances. Tho man flew into a passion, rose from the table and knocking his wifo down proceeded to bent her. She escaped from him and ran out of the front door. Ber ger seized a revolver aud shot her in tho bido. She fell dead on tho front steps.
