A hpmso occupied by Mrs. Drum, on
Wrat Contra street. Mahanoy City, was
struck by lightning yesterday afternoon
and badly damaged. The chimney was
demolished and most of the shingles woro

from tho chimney werp carried fifty feet
from tho house. Tho occupants of the
house were badly scared and a boy Bitting
