BEDFORD INQUIRER AND CHRONICLE.
A lIFOTAM Liri: SAVED!
Do: UHAC, ilicli. March 11, 1855.
'J. A. RHODES, Esq : Dear Sir—As I took
your medicine to sell on consignment, "no
cure no pay," I lake pleasure iu staling its ef
fects as reported to nie hy three brothers who
j live iu this place, and their testimony is a fair
specimen of all I have received:
AV.S. COXKLIM told me—'-I had taken nine
; bottles of Christie's Ague Balsam, and coatiu
j ually ran down while using it until my jungs
and liver were Congested to that degree that
| blood discharged from my month and bowels,
j so that all thought it impossible for me to live
[ through another chill. The doctors too did
j all they could lor me, but though 1 must die.
Nothing did any good until I got Rhodes' Fe
ver and and AgnaCure, which at once reliev
ed nie of the distress and nausea at uiy stom
ach and pain in iny head and bowels, and pro
duced a permanent cure in a short time."'
11. M. CO.VKI.IX says: <•] had been taking ine-
Uicine oi as good a doctor as we have ill our
county, and taken any < duality of quinine
and specifics without ai._ good result, from
25 August to lith December. But seeing bow
nicely it operated on my brother, I got a bot
tle of Rll ODES' FEVEK AND AO CE CUK E,
wbicli effected a permanent cure by using two
thirds of a bottle."
S. M. CONKUX was not here, but both the
other brothers say his case was the same as H.
M's. J sold the medicine to both the same
day, and the cure was as speedy from the same
small quanti y, and 1 might so specify. Fours
with respect. A. HUNTING-TON.
The above speaks for it-soll'. Good proof' as
it- is, it ,is of no better tenor than the vast num
ber of like certificates I have already publish
ed, and the still greater amount that is coirtin- j
ually pouring in to nie.
One thing more. Last year I had occasion
to Caution the Public in these words:—
"i no/ice one Jinn whs hare taken one of ray gen
eral circular*, substituted the name of their no*-
t rum for my medicine, and than with brazen impu
dence, end their pamphlet with the ere lama'ion,
'Let the proprietor of any other medicine say as
much if he dares.' " Str.
Now i take pleasure in saving that the Cau
tion referred to the same '-Dr. Ctuisfie's Ague j
Balsam" that is mentioned in the above cer
tificate.
There are Several other inflnstiions people
who a-e applying to their poisonous trash all
that I publish about my Fever and Ague Cure, j
or Antidote to Malaria, except the certificates j
of Cures, and the Certificate of the celebrated !
Chemist, Dr. James. 1!. Chilton of N. V.. in j
favor of its perfectly HARMLESS CIIAKAO- j

will always servo to distinguish my medicine |

Nervous and Constitutional Disea
ses.
These pills possess a specific aeticr ori th"
nervous system, and although they are prepa
red especially fur the purpose of curing Fits
they will be found of especial benefit to all per
son afflicted with weak nerves, or whose ner
vous system has been prostrated or shatterd,
from any cause whatever; in fact it isaimost
i possible to convey an adequate idea of the
speedy and almost miraculous results which
these pills effect in the diseased, broken down
fr urostrated nervous systems. Persons who
were all lassitude, weaknesss and debility, lie
fore their use, at once become robust and full of
energy. No matter whether the constitution
has been broken down by excess, seA by ma
ture, or debilitated by sickness, their eft'ection
the unstrung and shattered nervous organiza
tion is equally certain and apparent. Incases
tof neuralgia, headache, vertigo, pain in the
nerves of t he face, and the various train o I ner
vous affections, palpitation of the heart, period
ical headaches, cold and shivered state <-Hl<
frame, frequent fits of abstraction, total inabili
ty, dislike to society, melancholy, religious mo
nomania, heats aud flushes oft lie face on the
slightest occasion, adesire that existence should
terminate; they will produce a curt inanaston
iishngly short period of time, and it uilj alos
remote depression, excitement, a tendency to
blush, restlessness,sleeplessness,incapacity for
study or business, loss of memory, concision,
giddiness, blood to the head, mental debility,
hysteria, indecision, wretchedness, thoughts "of
self destruction, tear of insanity. Ac., Ac
They will increase and restore the appetite
strengthen the emaciated, renew the health of
those wbo have destroyed it by exc> .sacs, and
induce continual cheerfulness and equanimity
of spirits., and prolong life.
Persons of pule complexion and coanumptive
haldts are restored by a box or two, to bloom
and vigor, changing the skin from a pale, yellow
sickly color, to a beaut'ful floiidcompb lion.
