Justice Mansfield, Lord Campbell tells us
that he once heard a judge at Stafford sen

other world, the dignitary thus concluded:
"And I trust that, through the merits and

PURE FRESH COD
JLlver CPU.
THIS new and valuable Medicine, now
used by the medical profession with
such astonishing efficacy in the cure of
Pulmonary Consumption, Scrofula. Chronic
Rheumatism, Gout, general Debility,
Complaints of the Kidneys,
Sic. Sic, is prepared from the liver of the
COD FISH for medicinal use, expressly
for our sales.
Extract from the London Medical Journal.
C. J. B-WiLLiaas. M. D. F.R.S, Professor of
Medicine in University College, London, consul
ting physician to the Hnspitsl for Cotisump ion,
die , says ;"l have prescribed the Oil in above
four hundred cases of tubeiculoua disease of Ibe
Lunga. in different stagen, rbich bate been under
any care the laat two years and a half. In the
large eumbei of cases. 206 out of 2-14. its use was
followed by marked, unequivocal improvement,
varying in degree in diflerent cases, from a tem
porary retardation of the progress of the disea-e
and a mitigation of distressing symptoms, up to
a more or less complete restoration lo apparent
heahb.
"The effect of the-Ood Livei Oil in most of
these case wa very remarkable. Even in a few
day the cough we mitigated, the expccioration
diminished in quantity and opacity, the night
sweats ceased, the pulse became dower, and of
better volume, and tbe appetite, flesh and stieugtb
were gradually improved.
In conclusion I repest that tbe pure fresh Oil
from the Liver of tbe Cod is more bencficiai in
tbe treatment of Pulmonary Consumption than
any agent, medicinrl. dietetic or regimenal, that
has yet been employed."
As we have made arrangements to pro
cure the Cod Liver Oil fresh from bead
qunners, it can now be had chemically
pure, by the single bottle or in boxes of
one doz'-n each.
Its wonderful efficscv has induced num
erous spu- irtus imitatiiips. As its success
depends entirely on its purity, too much
care rtn not be used in procuring it ckmv
in. Every bottle having on it our written
signature, may be depended cm as genuine.
Pamphlets containing an a n lysis of the
Oil, with notices of it from the Medical
Journals, will be sent to those who address
us free of postage.
