Extract from the London Medical Journal.
C. J. B. Williams. M. D.. F.R.S., Professor ol
Medicine in University College, London, consul
ting physician to the Hospital for Cousump'ion,
Ac , says ; I have prescribed the Oil in above
four hundred cases of tuberculous disease of the
Lungs, iu different lages, which have been under
my care the last two years and half. In the
large nunibel of ca- a. 'il.o' out ol 231, it use was
followed by marked, unequivocal improvement,
varying in degree in different rases, from a tem
porary retardation of Ihe progress of the disea-e
nd a mitigation of distressing symptoms, up to
a more or less complete restoration to apparent
bealih.
The effect of (lie Cod Lirei Oil in mo-t of
these cases was very remarkable. Even in a lew
days t'ne cough was mitigated, the ex; re oration
diminished in quantity ai d opacity, the night
sweats ceased. Ihe pulse bicime slower, and of
better volume, and the appetite, fle.b and aticngtb
were gradually improved.
In conclusion I repeat that the pure fresh Oil
from I lie Liver of Ihe Cod is more beneficial in
the treatment of Pulmonary Com-un, prion than
any ngeut, medicine), di. tt tic or regimenal, that
has yet been employed "
As w-e have made arrangements to pro
cu'e the Cod Liver Oil fresh from head
nu'irters, it can now be had chemically
pure, by the single bo'tle or in boxes of
one di Z' n each.
Its wonderful rfiieiev has induced num
