They found a pocketbook therein containing $40.00, and they ex- tracted a ten-dollar bill therefrom, then threw the pocketbook, with the balance of the money in it, on the floor, where it was found by a member of the family. Two boys confessed to some of their companions that they took the money, but to Mr. Ringler they denied it, and as there is no prrof in the case, Mr. Ringler is out of pocket to the ex- vent of $10.00, and that’s about all there is to it, except that such stealing usual- ly leads to greater crimes, and to the penitentiary for the guilty ones.
