The editor of this paper has had a great many severe cases of quinsy in his time, but the last one, which started on him on the 28th ult, is the most virulent and stubborn case of that malady he has ever contended with. He is still in itgclutches, but able to do a little work on the paper again. Re- covery is very slow, however, and his condition is such that he feels he could die without half trying. We have a very interesting letter on file for publication in next week’s Stag, from our brother, W. 8. Livengood, who, as a newspaper specialist, recently completed an engagement with the Lincoln (Neb.) Daily Star, and is now filling an engagement with the Duluth (Minn.) News Tribune. Brother Wil- liam’s letter contains a great deal of information concerning some of the people who emigrated west from this locality during years past, which many of our readers will find very interest- ing. He also expresses himself greatly in favorof an ‘‘Old-Home” week for Salisbury, and thinks such an arrange- ment would bring many people in the far west back on a visit to their dear old native heath.
