editor spent a night and a portion of a
day visiting at the hospitable and
picturesque home of Drs. Theodore F.
and Horace Livengood, who reside in
one of the most historic mansions in
Elizabeth, N.J. No better entertainers
can be found anywhere than the Drs.
Livengood and their estimable wives,
and it goes without . saying that the
editor enjoyed his visit immensely at
the old General Scott mansion in which.
they reside. The editor also had a
very pleasant visit with Mrs. Evora
Carr Smith and daughters, a few hours
on Tuesday evening. at their cozy little
home in Philadelphia. They, too. are
excellent entertainers, and always
make it pleasant for their friends. In
New York the prospective real estate
investors were in charge of Mr. B.C.
Correll, of Altoona, who is interested
in Queens Estates, on Long Island, and
who knows every nook and corner of
New York. He is one of the best fel-
lows we ever came across to show
strangers the places of particular in-
terest in that great city, and his real
estate proposition must be seen to be
appreciated. We think it is all right,
and expect to invest.
