Charles H, Dia, Pres. Attest: : E. J. Dickey, Sec’y. Approved this 7th day of August, PUBLICITY. Publicity is the name of a new star in the newspaper firmament. It is located near the outer rim of the heavens, described by the astrologist as T7111 Jenkins Arcade building, Pittsburgh, Pa. Its paramount ob- ject in life seems to be the abuse of those members of the legislature of 1916-17 who refused to vote for universal suffrage. In each and every column, Senator Penrose is charged with every crime forbidden by the decalogue, and his personal and political friends are held up as accessories before and after the facts. Of course, one swallow does not make Spring, nor one issue illustrate clearly the objects of a special pub- lication, but it looks to us as a safety valve to get rid of heated atmosphere by Denny O’Neil and some other well meaning old ladies. : As outlined it has a good work to do and we welcome it to our ex- change table. Application. Application for the position of policeman for Meyersdale Borough will be received by E. J. Dickey, Secretary of the Council on or before the 4th day of Sept. 1917. C. H. Dia, Pres. E. J.
