M. C. A. team of Cumber- land. The fame stood a tie in the first half the score being 17 to 17 and our boys led in the beginning of the last half, but in the wind up the score was 42 to 32 in favor of the vis- itors. The Cumberland club is c¢om- posed of a nice bunch of fellows and the game proceeded without the us- ual amount -of wrangling. The visi- #ors stayed at Salisbury over night, attending the dance which was held in Mays Hall directly after the ball game. Walter Stanley Boucher. Walter, the oldest son of Mr. and Mrs. George S. Boucher of Damascus, W. Va. died on Tuesday, March 14, qf Cerebro-Spinal Meningitis at the age of 13 years, 1 month and 6 days. His father accompanied by Stanley Boucher and Rev. James B. Greiner. D. D. of the Lutheran church of DNa- mascus, brought the body to Salis- bury last Thursday to the home of the lad’s grand parents, Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Boucher, where funeral ser wices were held on Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock, conducted by the Rev. Pr. Greiner, assisted by Rev. C. V. .®porling of the local Methodist ghurch.
