A Serenade was given on Saturday evening last
by the band, to Ges. S Tutton Esq. their leader, on
his return from a two week's trip to the West.—
Though owing to the absence of his mellow horn, the
music was but indifferently played, the ..ttempt, was
fully appreciated by their very critical listener. In
a later part of the evening, P. M. Osterhuut Esq.—
a very liberal contributor to the band funds, was
given a few "toots "
