Ayer's Cathartic Pills
ARE the most perfect purgative which we are
able to produce o- which we think has ever yet
been made by any body. Their effects have abun
dantly shown to the community how much thev ex
cel the ordinary medicines in use. They are saf •
and pleasant to take, but powerful to cure. Their
penetrating properties stimula'e vital activities of
the body, remove the obstructions ol its organs, puri
fv the blo d. and expel disease. They purge out
the foul humors which breed and grow distemper,
stimulate sluggish or disordered organs into their
natural action, and impart a healthy tone with
strength to the whole system. Not only do they
enre the every-day complaints of every-body, but
also formidable ana dangerous diseases. While they
produce powerful effects, they are at the same time,
n diminished doses, the safest and best physic thHt
ran be employed tor childr-n. Being sugar coated,
thev are pleasant to take ; and, being purely vege
I table are free from any risk of harm. Cures have
j be >n made which surpass belief, were they not suh
[ stantiated by men of such exalted position and char
acter, as to forbid the suspicion of untruth. Vnv
eminent clergymen and phisicians have leut their
names to certify to the public tho reliability of rem
edies, while others have sent us the assurance of
their conviction that, rur Preparations contribute
