know them to be gentlemen of sterling worth ami

Messrs. Devaugh A Co.'s Great Sale of Jewcley,
etc, opened on the 15th ult., and we veutuue to
say that DO finer display of goods WHS ever exhibited
by any establishment in this city. The ladies
thronged their bazaar almost to suffocation.although
th 3 streets were rendered nearly impassable by the
melted snow and slush. We j redict for them a
wonderful success.

These Bonds are now worth a hanlsnwe premium
and are exempt, as are all the Government Bonds,
from State, County, and Municipal taxation,which
adds from one to three per cent, per annum to their

coupons attached to each note, which may be cut off

Stages, on the above route.
Passengors from Auburn 4 Corners start from that
pUce at three o'clock A. M —arrive at Bacon's
Hotel in time for breakfast, and to take the EX
PRESS train for NEW YORK and PHILADEL
PHIA, or the Accommodation Train going north
and west. Start from Nicholson Depot on arrival
of Express and Accommodation trains take supper at
Bacon's Hotel and arrive at Auburn 4 Corners the
same evening.
