Congressional Conference. —The Republican
I Congressional Conference is held at this place to-day

S their fathers and brothers, as substitutes, if they de

It Exempts.— Persons in the townships which have
! already furnished their quotas of troops, claiming to
i>e exempt from the draft on account of age, physical
§ disability, or any other eatise, should appear and
Iblaim such exemption on the day fixed by the com
tnissioner, the same as if they were actually liable to
an immediate draft, as this is their last and only
| chance to correct any error that may have been made
I by the Deputy Marshall.
Sewing Machine. —We have witnessed the work-
I ing by Mr. Naidlinger, the agent, of Singer's late im-
I proved Family sewing machine. This machine with
I the heramer which has lately been added to it is now
■ the most beautiful and perfect in its work of any that
I we have ever seen. The stoutest leather was sewed
I with the same needle that was used for sewing the
I finest cambric.
