Peel gained the waiting room whllr

eled revolver and he locked himself in

cruited to be sent to the detective's res
rue. In the meantime a passenger train
from the north arrived and the crew

train crew with a few of the passengers
determined upon rescuing Peel and get
ting away. A passageway was opened
from the wafting room to the train
after a redboi hand-to-hand combat
and Peel was taken ont and rushed
aboard one of the ear. The crew

from following. The engineer got the

and left the mob and the town behind

low, as no less than 15 of the mob are
known. The ringleader is said to be
one of the leading citlrens ot the town.
