High Grade Cattle.
The I'okt desires to call the attention of farm
ers and stock raisers generally to the public sale
of full-blooded cattle to be held west of Middle-
burg, Feb. 28, 1 ('02. The idea of bringing this
full-blooded stock here is to give Suyder county
farmers a chance to get high grade full blooded
stock. Strange to say, at the other sale, a I. rge
portion of this hiih grade stock wa allowed to
be bought by Union county farmers and Snyder
county fanners got very little of this stock.
There is not a farmer in Snyder county who docs
not like to have good stock and the Post would
like to impress upon our farmers the fact that in
ordc to improve their stock they should invest
in full blooded cattle. hy did a few outsiders
gobble up this stock as quickly as possible?
They paid what you may have thought was a
high price, but they thought it was cheap.
The only interest the Post has in this sale is
to aid our farmers in getting for themselves full
blooded cattle. It will pay to invest more money
in hitrli tirade cattle, because you can make more
profit on high grade stock than you can on a low
grade. The feed and attention is the same.
We trust our farmers will invest in this stock
for their own good. The men who are interested
in the sale are reliable and resjumsible gentlemen
and any representations made by these men will
be rigidly ami sternly regarded. Invest in high
"rade cattle. You will make no mistake.
