General Funston Operated On. Kansas City. Mo.. Feb. 4. A siirL-l- cal operation was performed yester day upon General Frederick Funston at a hospital. After the general ar rived here from the west last week and had sought-a consultation with his physician it was stated that an other operation would not be neces sary.
