great improvements to her home.
Mrs. Aaron Mover and her as
sistant, Mrs. Jenkins, painted their
house last week. It made a grand
improvement to the property.
Enoch Baker stopped a while
last Sunday with some of his Lowell
friends. He was on the way to vis
it his brother, Oliver, who has been
quite low for the past week with
w hat they call carpenter's consump

society is a thine of the nast. we
understand that the ladies (some
seventy) were very much pleased
with our tow n and the entertainment
received at the hands of our citizens.
The Reformed Classis is in ses
sion in the Reformed church. They
seem to lie enjoying themselves in
our midst, they filled the various
pulpits Sunday.

A game of base ball was played
on the University ground Saturday
afternoon between C. P. College
team and the University team. Score
