sou of Calvin Greene, of Lewtotown.
The ceremony was performed by Rev.
Ir. Lincoln Hulley, of Bucknell Un
iversity. The magnificent mansion of
the bride's father was beautifully and
bountifully deocrated with palms, holly
and mistletoe. Everywhere through
out the residence teemed the most
luxuriant growth of the vegetable king
dom, and in fact the bounties of nature
were everywhere manifest, and so taste
fully was it all displayed that it re
sembled more the handiwork of the
Perfect than that of human hands. At
the head of the stairs was a room set
apart for the presents, which dazzled
t lie eyes of every beholder and lniLrht
well be the envy of every spectator,
Almost every conceivable household
article was sent to the bride and tha
vast collection upon which the eyes of
the guests leasted reminded one of the
grand exhibits at the largest expositions
in this country. It was a sight worth
seeing and the many valuable gifts in
dicated the popularity of the young
couple
The wedding ceremony was very
pretty. Miss Mabel Wittenmycr, sister
of the bride, was the maid of honor;
Misses Nora and Ida (ireene, sisters of
the groom, Miss Bertha Wittenmeyer,
sister of the bride, and Miss Mary
Greehough, of Buubury, were t h e
bridesmaids. Horace Henderson, o f
Philadelphia, was the best man. J. N.
Thompson, Cashier of the First Nation

At 9:80 the bride and groom departed
for Bunburv by carriage where they

After December 16th, the couple will
be at home in a newly furnished bouse

The buzz of the campaign was en
thusiastically terminated Monday ev
ening by an enormous demonstration
at Bellnsgrove. The train Mast at 1
o'clock had four passenger cars crowd
ed full of McKinley admirers and with
them were the Middleburg and Ad
ainsburg bauds. Inadditilou to that
people drove to the metropolis from all
parts of the county until the town was
tilled with people. The meeting was
organized in front of the residence of L.
E. Pawling by electing A. W. Potter,
Est)., chairman. The people were ad
dressed by Mr. Buesserot of Chambers
burg, Attorney James Scarlet of Dan
ville, Prof. F. C. Rowersox f this
