Thia moat aggravating and tormenting of all akin diseases is caused by an acid condition of
the blood, and unless relieved through certain instrumentalities too much
oi una acta poison readies me sain ana it Decomes reti aud inflamed. The itching and liuming are
almost unbearable, especially when overheated from any cause. The akin seems on lire, sleep or rest is
impossioie, me desperate sunerer, regardless of consequences, scratches until strength is exhausted.
Thia burning, itching humor appears sometimes in little pustules, discharging a sticky fluid, which
forma crusts ami scales. Again the skin is dry, hard and fissured, itches intensely, bleeds aiid scabs over.
This is a painful and stubborn form of the disease.
While Eczema, Tetter, Bryajpelaa, 8it Rheum and many like troubles are s.ken of as diseases of
the akin, they are really blood diseases, because
THERE CAM BE NO EXTERNAL IRRITATION
WITHOUT AN INTERNAL CAUSE.
If the bloxl is in a pure, healthy condition, no poisonous elements can reach the skin.
External applications of washes, lotions and salves sometimes mitigate the itching and soothe the
inflammation, but cannot reach the disease, unlv h. S,. S., the real blood medicine, can do this.
S. S. S. , the only purely vegetable remedy known, is a safe and permanent cure for Eciema and all deep-seated bloiwl and
akin troubles. It goes direct to the seat of the disease, neutralizes the acids ami cleanses the blood, re-inforees and invigorates
all the organs, and thus clears the system of all impurities through the nuturul chuunels ; the skin relieved, all inflammation
subsides, aud all signs ot the disease disappear.
