in an ever welcome visitor at our ist
office and we fail to see why an v one

The entertainment at Grubb's church
Sunday evening brought full house,

Friday we received the sad intelli
gence that Barbara Voder was dead.
She and her family had lived here a
number of years and during that time
she made for herself a host of friends
who mourn the loss and extend their
most heartfelt sympathy to the bereav
ed children.
The voung folks of Globe Mills had
a social gathering Saturday eveBtog
and through the carelessiicas of driving
or a desire to "show off," like some of
them did, a buggy was smashed near
the bridge and three others .were dam
aged. John Herman hurt his hand
and a few of the ladies were terribly
frightened.
