Cancer
Of the Breast
Mr. A. II. Crausby, of 15S Kerr St.,
Memphis, Tenn., says that bis wife
paid no attention to a small lamp which
appeared in her breast, but it soon de
veloped into cancer of the worst type,
and notwithstanding the treatment of
the best physicians, it continued to
spread and grow rapidly, eating two
ner breast. The doctors
soon pronounced
her incurable. A
celebrated New York
specialist then treat
ed her, but she con
tinued to grow worse
and when informed
that both her aunt
and grandmother had
.died from cancer he
'gave the case np as
hopeless.
Someone then re
commended S.S.S.
and though little hope remained, she
begun it, and an improvement was no
ticed. The cancer commenced to heal and
when she had taken several bottles it
disappeared entirely, and although sev
eral years have elapsed, not a sign of
tne disease has ever returned.
A Real Blood Remedy
S.S.S. (guaranteed purely vegetable)
is a real blood remedy, and never fails

Tweaty-fire years ago a Toung
man coma to this town end opeued
the New York Branch Store iu the
corner room now oconqied by T. N.
Heicher. We will remember tbe first
job of work we did for the new firm.
We little imagined when we deliver
ed those circulars that we would do
thousands of dollars worth of job
work and advertising for that littl
store. The proprietor, Mr. S. Weis,
now one of our most prosperous and
respected citizens, had come to stay,
and by attentive application to bus
iness and honest dealing has sue
ceeded beyond his most sanguiue ex
pectation, His business steadily iu
creasd and he enlarged his stock
from yaar to year, until to-day he
not only has the largest and best
equipped dry goods store and fauvy
goods store in the town but in the
county as well. From a small stock
: in one room he now has his large
and commodious brick-building
first floor to the garret. Dunug the
years he has been in our town he
has married one of our town ladies,
and two sons, excellent and intellig
ent young gentlemen, have blessed
this happy union. Mr. Weis is the
owner of three of the best brick
properties is the town, besides other
real estate. He is also one of the di
rectors of the First National Bank
of this place. Mr. Weis is a citizen
the town may well be proud of, aud
we join with his many friends in
wishing him many years of oontinued
happiness and business prosperity.
