The announcement of the death of William Davis of Richfield cast a gloom upon his many friends here. For more than a year he was clerk ing for Mr. Custer in Swineford. He was universally liked. Of late he followed the business of huckster ing and visited Sunbury regularly. He died last Thursday and was buried on Sunday, his funeral be ing very largely attended.
