A Summers School of Law.
As early as INJO a law school in
connection with Dickinson College
Curlifle l'a., was established, and
among its graduates were tin late
Oov.'Curtin, (iov. Ramsey of Minn,
and many other distinguished men.
fter a suspension of several years
this school was revived in tK'.H) by
incorporation, tho corporators em
bracing many of tho leading jurists
of this and adjacent states. It has
steadily increased in the number of
its students, the efficiency of its
work, and the perfecting of its in
strumentalities.
A now departure is" announced
and tho first summer law school in
this state will commence on the
first Wednesday of July next. Cur
lisle is healthfully and beautifully
situated, and a summer sojourn
there will be pleasant. The course
is adjusted, to the needs of the stu
dents of law who are about offering
themselves for examination as well
as to others. The school is under

Of Interest to Contestants.
Tho committee appointed to count
the votes in the Teachers' contest
consists of l'rof. l'aul Billhardt, J
W. Swart, and Goo. II. Steiuinger.
They will meet on Tuesday even
ng of each week to count the votes
and they will tie sworn to give each
teacher credit for every vote cast for
him or her aud no more. Contest
ants should send in their coupons
on Monday. Bo sure tho votes are
addressed to the "Voting Depart
ment" so tho Editor will not open
letter containing coupons. It
would be well to have each contest
ant to enclose a note stating how
many coupons he claims to have en
closed, so that errors may bo detect
ed at once.
Next week tho result as it then
stands will be published. Teachers
are requested not to hold back cou,
pons as such action may necessitate
the dating of coupons and requiring
them to be in within a limited time.
