This meeting was called for tho
purpose of attending to matters of
a purely husiness character. Tho
inscription on the monument at Get
tysburg is given as 01 and it should
lie V.'l. The society has been doing all
in its power to have this error
properly corrected and has never
been able to do so.
A Committee for this purpose was
appointed at one of the past re
unions and they have failed to ac
complish anything. The inscription
does the regiment au injustice and
the error should bo corrected. Tho
chair appointed tho following com

successful business man of Altoona.
Tho wounds ho received while
lighting for Uncle Sam are very an
uoying to him.
It was regretted by all his com
rades that D. T. Rhodes was uuablo
on account of sickness to participate
in tho re-uuiou. Mr. Rhodes is
justly very proud of his regiment
and it will bo a life-long regret that
sickness should como at such a
momentous occasion.

and heroic man who gave up his life

since died. Many of the brave boys
who went out with the company,
full of true patriotism, sacrificed
their.lives that the nation might live
May their heroic deeds nover be
forgotten.

ed across the streets in town and
Swineford.
