It is with sadness that I write
this morning to tell tho readers of
tin; Post that ( Siandfather Ulsh and
wife sank into tho repose of final
sleep only three days apart. Ho was
buiiod last Sunday forenoon, July
l!:tli. nnd tho next day about tho
same time Mrs. Ulsh breathed her
last. Only a moment's ugony and
the good mother and noiphbor's
spirit returned to Ood, who gave it
She expressed the wish, and no
doubt prayed earnestly, to follow her
dear one soon. United in life for
nearly sixty years, they are so soon
united m death. A sou far oil" in the
West could not be present at either
funeral. They were both members
of tho Lutheran church for many
years, where they adorned tho doc
trine of (Jod, our Saviour, with an
exemplary lile. l neir remains were
followed to their last resting place
by a largo con course of relatives am
friends. Orandinolher's funeral took
place Wednesday forenoon. Tho
memory of tho just is blessed. X
