of gallant mill stalwart men who will

tho election next November. At the
head of tho county ticket .stands tho
name of Chan. V. Hermann, a man
whose merits have been tried and
stood tho test. His entire life was
spent w it Liu the county and for six
yearn the interests of the public
schools flourished under his direc
tion. His travels have brought him
into close relut ion with the interests
of the people of Snyder county. He
is both able and willing to work and
voteforull important measures uf
feeling the Welfare of the taxpayers
of the county. His early training
was secured in the public schoola of
tho county, having subsequently
graduated from Missionary Insti
tute, Sehnsgrove, ami JhicUncll Uni
versity, hewisburg. TlnM-ontest for
Assembly was hot and spirited, but
was free from personal animosity
and bitterness, and now after every
man has had tho opportunity to ex
presH his preference, wo bespeak for
Mr. Hermann, the nominee.the united
support of the party and a trium
phant election in November.
J. Calvin Hchoch, tho rrothouo
taiT, in a candidate for re-election
ami since ho has received tho unani
mous support of Lin party it will not
be an easy matter to fikd a man
who is willing to bo a candidate
against this obliging official. He has
proven himself a competent, and
courteous gentleman in tho dis
charge of all his duties. His hon
orable dealings, and gonial; disposi
tion havo won for bim many warm
friends who will unito in rolling up
a big majority for the man of their
choice.
f!eo. M. Shindel, tho genial and
obliging ltegister A. llecorder, Las
tho strongest endorsement of bis
cutiro party for re-election to the
position in which be so faithfully
has served his constituents. At all
times, he exercised the utmost care
that no person Having business to
transact in his department, bad any
reason to complain. He enjoys the
hearty compliments paid bim from
both the rich and poor, Democrats
and Republicans for the fair and
square treatment received at bis
hands. No one hesitates to say a
good word for Mr. Shindel and his
voto at tho fall election will prove
bis popularity.
J. M. Baker, Esq., tho man who
received CIO of a majority at tho re
cent primary election, is a lawyer of
ability and will serve judiciously and
faithfully tho duties devolving upon
his office as District Attorney. His
manners, and disposition are such
that the most important of legal
cases can bo safely intrusted to his
Vigilance. The pooplq will plve him
a largo vole at the polls in Novem
ber. '
