Half Rates to Gettysburg via
Pennsylvania Railroad.
On Thursday, June 2d, 1WJ, the
'High Water Mark" Monument will
bo dedicated on the field of Gettys
burg. This monument marks the
highest point within the Union lines
reached by Pickett' troops in the
memorable charge of -J uly .'Id, lsi'1.
The monument has been erected
under the auspices of the JJuttlo
lield Memorial Association. The
dedicatory ceremonies will be highly
interesting, consisting of speeches,
poems, music, and military exer
cises. A largo number of veterans,
both oflicers and privates, will be
gathered on the historic held and
the occasion will bo a most memor
able ono.
l'or tho benefit of thoso desiring
to attend, the Pennsylvania llailroad
Company will, on Juno 1st and 2d,
sell excursion tickets from all prin
cipal stations on the lines to Gettys
burg at a singlo faro for tho round
trip. Upturn coupons will bo valid
