The Christmas entertainments given by the two Sunday Schools on the evening of the 21th were a grund success and very largely attended. After the perfectly rendered recita tions, delightful singing, Ac, tlie gifts were distributed, and all re turned to their respective homes much pleased with the evening's exercises. Prof. J. V.. lioud. the renowned rope walker and slack rope perform er, gave an open air performance on Christmas afternoon.
